Ths may be the wrong section for this, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to produse some "skin" to be used for a lampshade. This lampshade will have a "skinned" face as well. Any help?

I assume you are wanting it fairly translucent so the light shows through right?
I would use either silicone or liquid latex. Latex is the cheaper of the two (obviously), but you will have more control of the translucency using the silicone. The only problem I can see witht the silicone it that it will be much heavier and mor difficult to stick to the frame of your lamp.
I would probably use latex, but keep it fairly thin.

Thanks for the reply. I think I have the problem licked. I was leaning towrds latex anyway, but I am trying latex and cotton batting. I have a test running at the moment so tomarro when it's dried I'll have the results. If it works I'll post pics and how to's.
